Meet the new boss

Her name is Karma. She is nine weeks old.

The name was difficult, but Die Gnädige Frau announced that until we came up with one she would call it Emo. That accelerated the decision-making process.

What a little honey. I'm sure she will be a benevolent overlord.

She is gooooooooorrrrrrrrgeous!!!!

Such eyes!!! That little round face!

With all of these black cats, we're going to have to start a coven or something.

I know that she'll never take Simba's "place," but what a beauty, I know that she's already got you wrapped around her little finger. Such a doll.

Snuggle her good for me.

That little boy cat just broke my heart this morning --- first feral that actually WANTED to stay in the carrier! Cried and sang the blues like Ronnie James Dio, I swear, it was creepy (and I don't even LIKE Dio!!!), "Rainbow In The Dark" was playing on the radio, and he was just a wailing away in the back of the truck.

Had to get out and sit on the ground and talk him out of the carrier, he even let me pet him! Not one hiss, no scratching, none of the pissy behavior of those batshit-crazy cats (and people) at the Myrtles --- he was such a doll, he didn't WANT to leave, and it just broke my fucking heart to take him out of the carrier and turn him loose. Such a sweet boy.

I don't know what it is about black cats, but they get to me every time, although I dunno if I ever want to tango with "Mister Sissy" again.

Congrats on the new baby --- she is so adorable, and so lucky to have found the Fugit family.

When I finally get done with this season's spays/neuters and finally conquer my 9-month nemesis, Lex Luthor, the wily slut mama cat, and if I still feel like there's any value to blogging --- I'll hopefully have the pictures developed by then (my digicam died last year), and I'll tell you all about my first 2 pairs of tamed feral kittens, one pair that went straight to a local home, and the other two, who were my first babies to make it into the Cat Haven adoption program. I'm just so proud of them, I knew that they were exemplary chirrens.
